The Annunciation Cathedral is one of the oldest monuments of the Moscow Kremlin. Having been erected in the XVth century as a home church of the Moscow Great Princes and Tsars, it became a part of Tsar's palace complex.
The leaflet, containing information on history of the cathedral's construction and development of its exterior and interior during five hundred years, reveals peculiarities of mural painting of the XVIth century, presents outstanding pieces of icon painting and applied art of the XIVth-XVIIth centuries.
