A ceremonial meeting of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Friends Society took place at the Armoury Chamber on December 3, 2015. Elena Gagarina, Director General of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, welcomed the guests and noted that 2015 is the year of the 25th Anniversary since the architectural ensemble of the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square has been included into the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

For the first time, the exhibition held in the Assumption Belfry and the One-Pillar Chamber of the Patriarch’s Palace of the Moscow Kremlin is dedicated to one of the greatest figures in the Russian history – Boris Godunov. He was a man of marked individuality, whose amazing and tragic life has been attracting historians and litterateurs for a long time. The sovereign’s image is depicted in various works of art, music and drama.
