The display presents to the British audience an outstanding collection of court dress and ceremonial garments which include coronation uniforms and regalia of Paul I, Alexander I, Nicholas I, Alexander II and Alexander III.

The exhibition of the Augsburg silver-work, organized in the Moscow Kremlin Museums, reveals a history of the two great countries' collaboration.

Precious items of the exhibition reveal the splendour of the Palace of Versailles and Sun King's court. In 1689 all the silver pieces of work, executed for Louis XIV at the Royal Gobelins factory, were melted down.
