Exhibition “Royal heritage in the Moscow Kremlin Museums” for the first time gives detailed information of the Russian history to the Brazil citizens. The exhibition is located in the halls of the Brazil Art Museum of the the Armando Alvares Penteado Fund.
Fire-arms and cold arms, ceremonial horse harness, important detail of royal ceremonial processions, unique portraits, including carpet with the image of Emperor Peter I, church utensils – all the variety of museum items illustrate various periods of the Russian Court life. Some exhibits have never left the Kremlin walls before, i.e. the Coronation baldaquin of the 19th century. The key of the display is Faberge “Trecenniary of the Romanov House” Easter Egg . It was executed for Easter 1913 to the Jubillee of the ruling Dynasty and adorned with 18 miniature portraits of representatives of the ruling Dynasty.
The exhibition is accompanied by a well-illustrated catalogue in the English and Portuguese languages.
