The Assumption Belfry of Moscow Kremlin

Exhibition in the Assumption Belfry is a result of a decennial collection activity of Moscow Kremlin Museums. During these years museum collections have been replenished with 5,5 thousand artworks. On display are a part of the latest acquirements - about 900 items of the IVth to the early XXIst centuries. Among them there are unique ancient monuments: Byzantine artworks ЁC silver lodge and spoon of the IVth-Vth centuries, Old-Russian female decorations - golden kolts with cloisonne enamel of the XIIth century, archeological finds.
Traditionally wide is the display section of Faberge works and other jewelry firms of the late XIXth - early XXth century, as well as the collection of modern jewelry art. The collection of West-European art metal has been enriched with jewelry artworks, clocks and bronze items. Important addition to the unique collection of ceremonial royal and imperial suits is large collection of court dresses of Dukes Lichtenberg family purchased in 2004. Kremlin collections of weapons, ceramics and glass, icons, numismatics, archive documents have been enriched with new artworks.
