The exhibition project, carried out in Yekaterinburg, was intended as a representation of a precious symbol of the Urals region - emerald. About 450 artworks are on loan to the art gallery of the Residence of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region from various Russian museums, i.e. the State Precious Metals and Gems Repository (Gokhran), the Museum for history of stone-cutting and jewellery-making in Yekaterinburg, the Ural Geological Museum, the State Hermitage museum, the Fersman Mineralogical Museum, as well as some private collections. The exposition incorporates pieces of fabulous gemstones: emerald, alexandrite, beryl, aquamarine, heliodor, and outstanding jewellery masterpieces.
