The Moscow Kremlin Museums take part in the large-scale exhibition project “The Universal Language” presented in the main building of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. At the core of its concept is the biblical myth about the Tower of Babel as a symbol of the bygone unity of mankind.

The exhibition in the State Historical Museum of the South Urals presents Russian jewellery art beginning from the epoch of historicism and Art Nouveau to the present days, unveiling the unique world of Russian jewellery. There are about 400 pieces on display – female and male jewellery, accessories, art pieces designs, as well as garments and textiles.

The display is dedicated to the least known early period of his life, from birth till sole full empowerment over enormous Eurasian state. That was the time of bright events, tragic and joyful, that influenced the character and personality formation of the future Emperor.

Peter the Great's personal knowledge of Western Europe became a significant factor in the development of Russia, which comprehensively borrowed the advanced experience of European countries in science and technology, art and education, manufacturing, military affairs, and shipbuilding.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums take part in a monographic exhibition of the Danish artist Vigilius Eriksen (1722-1782) commemorating the 300th Anniversary of his birth. Having worked in Russia for a long time, Eriksen is best known for his portraits commissioned by Empress Catherine the Great, during whose reign he gained the status of court master.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums participate in the exhibition organized by the Moscow State United Museum and Heritage Site 'Kolomenskoye-Izmalaylovo-Lublino' dedicated to the 400th Anniversary of archpriest Avvakum, Russian writer and religious figure, one of the brightest persons of the 17th century.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums take part in the exhibition "Imperial Hunt of Past and Present. Collection of the Romanovs' Hunting Trophies" at the State Darwin Museum. A unique hunting trophy collection of Emperor Nicholas II and members of the Imperial Family from the Belovezhsky Palace is on public display for the first time. The fate of the hunting trophies from the Belovezhskaya Pushcha remained unknown for many decades, until 1990 when the Darwin Museum was moving into a new building on Vavilov Street.
