On 29 November 2019, the ceremonial opening of the exhibition 'Peter the Great. Collector, Scholar, Artist' took place at the Moscow Kremlin Museums.

Exhibition opening ceremony took place at the Exhibition hall of the Assumption Belfry. Guests of the vernissage could appreciate unique pieces restored mainly over the last five years β€” State regalia, objects which belonged to the monarchs, ceremonial arms, ancient icons and magnificent jewels. Many of those had been kept in museum store-rooms for a long time and now presented to the public for the first time.

On 14 March 2019, the 'Treasures from the Palace Museum: The Flourishing of China in the 18th Century' exhibition opening ceremony took place at the Assumption Cathedral. This display is the first part of the cultural exchange project between Russia and China.
