The 10th of October 2024 was marked by the ceremonial opening of the exhibition "Monument to Alexander II in the Moscow Kremlin. The Story of the Creation" in the State Anteroom of the Armoury Chamber. This is the first time that the museum has taken up the theme of the creation of this memorial built with the people's money, which is reflected in the inscription on the gallery frieze surrounding the monument: "Built with the voluntary support of the Russian people".

On 4 September, the Vladimir K. Arseniev Museum of Far East History opened the exhibition "The Epoch of Fabergé. The Golden Age of Russian Jewellery Art", presenting creative works of the eminent Russian jeweller and his contemporaries.

On the 26 of August, the Khabarovsk Regional Museum named after N.I. Grodekov opened an exhibition dedicated to the metal that has occupied a special place in the history of mankind.

On 12 July 2024, 'The Elegance of Silver: Valuables of the Omani Court' was launched in the exhibition hall of the Patriarch's Palace, introducing visitors to masterpieces of the applied and decorative arts and culture of this eastern country.

On 12 June 2024, in the Suzdal Kremlin there was a grand opening of the joint exhibition of the Moscow Kremlin Museums and the Vladimir and Suzdal Museum and Heritage Site "Russian Phoenix. Suzdal Land". The ceremony was timed to coincide with the Russia Day and the 1000th anniversary of the first chronicle mentioning Suzdal, which for centuries remained the centre of gathering Russian lands.

On 30 May 2024, the State Anteroom of the Armoury Chamber hosted the opening of the exhibition "Games Our Ancestors Played", dedicated to the history of games of the past.

On 14 March 2024, the “Amateur Scholars of Russian History. Pavel Karabanov and Moscow Collectors of the 19th Century” exhibition opening ceremony was held at the Moscow Kremlin Museums. The aim of the display is to introduce the public to one of the most interesting private collections of the first half of the 19th century, which belonged to Pavel Karabanov, the connoisseur of Russian history and a collector of Russian antiques.
