Son of Ivan IV the Terrible and Anastasia Romanovna Zakharyeva-Yuryeva.

Tsar (1584-1598)

Middle son of Ivan the Terrible. he was crowned for the Russian throne in May, 1584. The ceremonial was held in the assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. While the crowning, the sceptre was attached to the regalia, presented to the Tsar. The regalia of this Tsar have not survived.
