With the support of Gazprom Export, the Museum acquired a rare example of a precious accessory – a ladies' umbrella handle in an authentic case, made by Mikhail Perkhin, a principal jeweller at the Firm of C. Faberge.
This exquisite item, made in the neoclassical style, is an exemplary piece of Russian enamel art of the turn of the 19th-20th centuries.
OOO Gazprom Export and the Moscow Kremlin Museums have a long-standing cooperation that has resulted in a number of large-scale exhibition, restoration and publishing projects, as well as the acquisition of unique jewellery to replenish the museum's collection.
