On February, 17, 2006 a ceremonial meeting, dedicated to the inauguration of the Museum Friends Society, was arranged in the Patriarch’s Palace of the Moscow Kremlin.

Appealing to the audience, Elena Gagarina, the General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, noted a significant social role of the Museum Friends Society in the preservation of valuable national culture by joint operations.

Individual cards of the Museum Friends Society and diplomas were granted to the representatives of the first-rate Russian, foreign companies and to private persons in appreciation of an important contribution to the Moscow Kremlin Museums' development.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums feels sincere gratitude to everyone who has provided support to the museum programmes and projects of 2005-2006.
