Ming Porcelain. Part III
Curator of the exhibition Irina Gorbatova tells about porcelain — a “trademark” of the Ming dynasty. At that particular time craftsmen developed wonderful colour glazes and overglaze painting technique. Objects of great rarity, presented at the exhibition, are porcelain figures. One of them—a duck-shaped incense burner was made specifically for the Imperial court.
Exhibition "Ming Dynasty: The Radiance of Knowledge" is held from 17 April to 25 July 2018 at the exhibition halls of the Assumption Belfry and Patriarch’s Palace. Official website of the exhibition mingdynasty.kreml.ru
