The display dedicated to the 19th-century Moscow collectors was launched at the Kremlin Museums
The exhibition is based on artefacts that once belonged to Pavel Karabanov, a prominent connoisseur of Russian history. For more than fifty years he had been building up his private museum, which his contemporaries called the Second Armoury Chamber.
