An American filmmaker and actor Quentin Tarantino, who came to Moscow for the first release of his new film, visited the Moscow Kremlin Museums. Quentin Tarantino and the Russian Minister for Culture Vladimir Medinsky were greeted by Director General of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina. They had a walk through Cathedral Square, visited the Assumption Cathedral and the Grand Kremlin Palace.
Quentin Tarantino also observed the exhibition "Guardians of Time. Conservation at the Moscow Kremlin Museums". He got particularly interested in the crowns of Anna Iannovna, tsars Ivan Alexeyevich and Peter Alexeyevich (future Peter the Great), and the helmet of Feodor Ioannovich.
The filmmaker was enraptured with the Kremlin architecture, as well as he was impressed by the Tsar Cannon and the Tsar Bell, which he even rubbed for luck.
"I'm much favoured—it was such an interesting personal tour, and I appreciate your concern very much," said Quentin Tarantino to Elena Gagarina when parting.
