31 May 2018, two projects of the Moscow Kremlin Museums were pronounced prize winners of the F@IMP 2.0 (Festival of Audiovisual International Multimedia Patrimony) organized by AVICOM, ICOM International Committee for Audiovisual, New Technologies and Social Media. The award ceremony took place in LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland) Open-Air Museum, Kommern (Germany).
The Kremlin Museums got two bronze prizes in the Medium-length Film and Web Site categories for the projects made for the exhibition “Lords of the Ocean. Treasures of the Portuguese Empire of the 16th-18th centuries”. Those are “In Search of India” film and the theme-based satellite site.
AVICOM has promoted and recognized excellence in audio-visual and multimedia creations from around the world. FIAMP’s mandate is to encourage, enhance and promote the production and distribution of audiovisual (film, video) and multimedia products (websites, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, kiosks, mobile applications, new museography, etc.) designed for museums or designed and/or produced by museum and heritage institutions or by professionals and private companies specialized in cultural multimedia.
