The display placed in the pedestrian gallery between D and E terminals of the Sheremetyevo airport presents more than 20 photos of the most characteristic objects from the Armoury Chamber being the inherent part of the Russian history. These are Russian monarchs’ insignia – ceremonial objects which have been used during centuries for solemn coronation ceremonies in the Moscow Kremlin. Priceless relics which are kept in Moscow Kremlin museums remind of the main periods of the formation of the Russian state. These unique objects of art executed by masters from different countries permit to imagine the variety of traditions and cultural values taken in by the Russian state while conserving its identity and particular place in the world.

Visitors would have the opportunity to trace the historical evolution of the state regalia – from the Great Princes’ period to the imperial one, to see the legendary «Cap of Monomakh» or Crown of Monomachus, later tsar’s crowns, scepters and orbs as symbols of power, precious pectoral crosses, the barmy of the tsar Alexey Mikhailovich, the crown of the empress Anna Ioannovna, coronation mantle of the empress Maria Alexandrovna and other important monuments.

«Sheremetyevo is the «air gates» of Moscow, the Kremlin being its main attraction, the monument of world importance. That’s why our collaboration is quite logic. We do hope that our exhibition will contribute to popularize the national cultural heritage among citizens of Russia, as well as among foreigners coming to Russia, particularly, as tourists. Further on we are planning to familiarize the Muscovites and guests of the capital travelling through Sheremetyevo airport with outstanding samples of artistic culture from our collections», - Dmitriy Kolchugin, Deputy General director of the Moscow Kremlin museums for external communications declared.

«The photo exhibition which we are to open today is really unique. The art becomes more close to the people leaving the Kremlin walls and inviting them to continue acquaintance with the great heritage of Russia during the stay in the capital city. Nestlé has been contributing to the cultural life of the country for about twenty years and we are glad to collaborate with our old friends - Moscow Kremlin museums and a new partner - Sheremetyevo airport supporting this historically important project», - mentioned Elena Yakunina, Lead of Public Relations Division,  Nestlé Russia.
