Persian classical music is a marvelous centuries-old phenomenon taking its origins in the Vedic and Avestan sacred hymns. The atmosphere of Persian sumptuous palaces and polite society of poets and philosophers have enhanced the music that now reveals the heart of one of the most ancient and powerful cultures in the world.
The concert program is composed in consequence with traditions. It includes instrumental parts (introduction and ancient songs) and avaz - the miracle of the Persian music, the art of classical singing which is sung in the typically Persian manner of improvisation, the brilliant master of which Hoseyn Nourshargh is.
Musicians will perform the compositions arranged in an ancient manner to create the exact sound atmosphere peculiar to the Persian court of the 16th – 17th centuries.
