A year has passed since the presentation of the Moscow Kremlin Museums’ new project "Music Meetings in the Kremlin" in the spring of 2023, during which several concerts were held, which gained the love of the audience. The first concert of this season "Summer Dreams", that took place on 6th of March, included lyrical works by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frederick Chopin, Igor Stravinsky and Claude Debussy, performed by the brilliant pianist Dmitry Masleev and a duet of Maria and Desislava Bobrins (piano).
The concert entitled "Easter Joy" will take place on 20 May 2024. For the first time in the history of the Armoury Chamber that it will be immersed in a majestic and bright Easter music for the organ, choir and violin. An interesting and varied programme was proposed to the musicians especially for this concert, which would include sacred works and romances by prominent Russian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries – P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninoff and A. Skryabin, as well as pieces by our contemporaries – R. Shchedrin, A. Levin, A. Klevitsky, Deacon R. Galiev, L. Dolganova and other eminent and gifted composers.
